Newcastle United winger Harvey Barnes has offered his perspective on the team's troubling habit of conceding goals in the final stages of matches. The issue came to the forefront again last weekend when Eddie Howe's side allowed an 88th-minute equaliser against Nottingham Forest, with former Newcastle academy product Elliot Anderson delivering the blow.

"It is disappointing," Barnes admitted during an interview with BBC Radio Newcastle. While he did not offer a simple explanation, his comments suggest the squad is acutely aware of the pattern.
